Voorhees College Team Camp

The Voorhees College (VC) Team Camp is a great opportunity for Junior High, Junior Varsity and Varsity teams to test theirs ability against topnotch talent and develop their skills for the next year's season.

Hosting the largest team camp in South Carolina, VC is able to offer the best competition from all levels of high schools basketball. In addition, team campers will have unlimited use of the beautiful Voorhees college campus, considered one of the most beautiful in the state of South Carolina and the Southeast.

Campers will be housed in one of the modern air-conditioned dormitories and all meals will be served in Campus Dining Hall. Everyone will enjoy "all you can eat" meals, plus unlimited drinks in the air-conditioned dining hall.

The camp itself will be held on the VC campus and surrounding gyms in the community, all within a mile of VC.

Coaches Simmons, Green and their staff have been accommodating coaches and their team for the past 17 at various camps throughout the State. We will do whatever it takes to make sure that your team has a great week.
 

• Every team is guaranteed at least nine games for the week
• Games will be officiated by official. No coaches will be required to officiate any games.
• Morning Practice times are available
• Our camp accepts Junior High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity team.
• Every camper will receive a free VC Team camp T-shirt.
• There will be a Slam dunk contest and a three point contest with prizes awarded to the winners.
• Free time is available for swimming and other activities as provided.
• There will be daily together for the coaches.
• Voorhees College trainers will be on site to aid in any injuries or taping.
• A camp canteen will be selling VC shirts and shorts, as will as pizza, candy, and soft drink.
• Nightly rap sessions for all coaches will be held on the VC campus complete with complimentary food and beverages.
   

Campers should bring towels, wash-cloths, soap, personal hygiene items, pillows, blankets, sheets, basketball shoes, socks, gym shorts, T-shirts, swimming suit, etc. We also recommend that campers bring money for miscellaneous spending. A camp bank will allow campers to set up accounts for miscellaneous spending. Leave all valuables at home as the camp is not responsible for the lost articles
