After losing to Bluefield on Friday, the Tigers
tried to bounce back on Saturday as they went up
on Bluefield 3-0 by the 3rd inning. The Tigers
were overcome when they allowed 5 runs to score
in the 6th inning of game 1 of the doubleheader.
In game 2, the game was scoreless through 3
innings until Bluefield tacked on 2 runs and
later scored 8 more to win 10-0. The Tigers were
lead by Juan Figueroa with 2 hits on Friday and
5 more in the doubleheader. |

second game of the doubleheader 11-9. The top
hitters in game 2 were Kirk High who had 4 hits

hits and 3 RBI’s in game 2. The Tigers will be
back in action at home against Brewton-Parker
College on Wednesday for a 12:00 noon

pitched by Julian Yarwood. The Tigers we led in
hitting by Travis Adams, Christian and George

called to pitch in the 3rd inning. He pitched 5
strong innings while not allowing any runs to
score as the Tigers held off the Vikings 10-6.
Five of the nine starters collected RBI's as the
Tigers pushed forward to complete game 2 of the
doubleheader. The Tigers have won 5 of their
