The
goals of the Business Administration major are to:
- Equip the graduate with the appropriate knowledge,
skills and background to pursue graduate studies in Finance, Business
Administration, Public Administration, Law or other related areas; and
- Equip the graduate with the appropriate knowledge,
skills, and background to pursue meaningful careers in the public or
private sector.
Objectives- After
completing the degree in Business Administration, the graduate will be able
to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic functions and theories
of Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and other areas of Business
Administration in our economy;
- Analyze and solve business problems;
- Pursue successfully graduate level studies and/or a
career in Finance, other areas of Business Administration or other related
areas;
- Plan and conduct research projects using various
research techniques in Finance and other areas of Business Administration;
and
- Demonstrate the use of technology for management and
analysis.

MINOR IN BUSINESS
ADMINISTRATION
A minimum of eighteen credit hours is required for a
minor in Business Administration. Students desiring to minor in Business
Administration should consult the Chairperson of the Division of Business
and Professional Studies to design a program of study.
