Voorhees College Professor Visits Brazil
On
May 14th,
Dr. David Caslan, Voorhees College Accounting
Professor, traveled to Brazil (Rio de Janeiro) to
conduct a seminar on Global Finance at
Centro Federal de Educação
Tecnológica (CEFET),
as part of the Voorhees College
FIPSE/CAPES grant project.
Dr. Caslan had a very productive trip and his seminar
attracted over fifty accounting and business
administration students from our Brazilian partner
CEFET. Professor Mauricio Castanheira, Brazilian project
director for the FIPSE/CAPES grant, enjoyed having
Professor Caslan on CEFET campus and was very impressed
with the quality of his seminar. Due to a great interest
in Global Finance and Accounting from the Brazilian
