To gain or maintain accreditation with the commission, a college must meet high standards and go through an exhaustive review that consists of documentation and on-site visits from accreditors. Voorhees currently is undergoing an extensive review to reaffirm its accreditation.
As part of that effort the college has created a Quality Enhancement Program, led by Division of Business and Professional Studies Chairman Bernard Moses. The program also ensures an on-going culture of assessment at the college, guaranteeing that the entire Voorhees family constantly contemplates what we need to do to continue to improve the Voorhees community for faculty, staff and students.
Below are four documents that outline the qualities, attributes and requirements SACS considers when granting or reaffirming accreditation. Voorhees already has met and is eager to demonstrate that it continues to maintain these high standards.
