Voorhees College Inducts Four into Alumni Hall of Fame: Wilda Juanita Robinson,
Herman Gloster,
Dr. George Bell Thomas, Sr.
, and Theodore Chaplin, Jr. Denmark, SC – During Homecoming 2005 four alumni were inducted into the
National Alumni Hall of Fame at a Friday evening banquet and dance held in
the Leonard E. Dawson Health and Human Resources center.

Dr. Bernard F. Moses Named Distinguished Faculty Denmark, SC -- Dr. Bernard F. Moses,
Interim Division Chair Business & Professional Studies at
Voorhees College, was recently named Distinguished Professor for his
contributions to the College in the areas of grant writing and teaching. Dr.
Moses teaches Introduction to Sociology, Research
Method, Senior Seminar I/II, Social Problems, Sociological Theory, and
Social Statistics.

Voorhees College Expands its Reach Denmark, SC – Voorhees College is expanding its reach through out the state
of South Carolina and beyond. In a recent interview with Mr. Benjamin
Watson, Director of admissions at Voorhees College he said, “The addition of
six more recruiters will enable Voorhees to cover more of South Carolina and
reach farther into North Carolina. The strategy is to visit more high
schools more often as well as concentrate more energy into specific areas.”
