Are you ready for Homecoming 2015

The time is drawing near for Homecoming 2015, which will be celebrated during the week of November 9-14, 2015. Reunion classes for this year end with “5” and “0.” The golden class this year is 1965, and the silver class is 1990. For information on vendors, call 803-780-1145. Alumni activities are scheduled for November 13-14, 2015. See the list of activities below.

Friday, Nov. 13                                                                                                                  

Registration for Alumni:  9 a.m.-noon (Massachusetts Hall Auditorium)

National Alumni Association Meeting: 10 a.m. (Massachusetts Hall Auditorium)         

Art Exhibit Opening: 2 p.m. (Leonard E. Dawson Health and Human Resources Center/ Classroom 1)

Reunion Class Meetings: (Classes in reunion end with ‘5’ and ‘0’) 2 p.m. (St. James Building)

Hall of Fame Banquet: 6 p.m.  (Leonard E. Dawson Health & Human Resources Center)

Hospitality Suite: 9 p.m.-11 p.m. (Student Center)               

The All-Black Affair (Party): 9 p.m. (Massachusetts Hall) $10 in advance/$20 at the door

Saturday, Nov. 14

Parade: 10 a.m. (Beginning on Maple Street Downtown Denmark)

Tiger Den VIP Lounge: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. (Student Center) $15

(This is a new component of Homecoming).  The Tiger Den VIP Lounge includes free food and free spirits, such as the Homecoming signature drink, Tiger-tini! In addition, television screens to watch football games will be available, a Homecoming backdrop for pictures, and free Voorhees giveaways. Alumni can reconnect, meet and greet former classmates. In addition, alumni registration and ticket pickup will be outside the Student Center beginning at 11 a.m.
