U.S. Senator Cory Booker visits Voorhees College

Democratic Senator of New Jersey and presidential hopeful Cory Booker recently visited Voorhees College as a part of his South Carolina campaign trail.

Voorhees was a part of Booker’s “South Carolina Rise” tour. He came and gave an introduction speech followed by a panelist discussion with three local county citizens. The panelist discussion addressed issues of healthcare and infrastructure.

At the conclusion of the panel discussion, Booker took questions from the citizens on education reform, healthcare, water quality, employment, and family life.
