Voorhees holds 2018 Faculty Staff Appreciation Day

The Division of Institutional Advancement and Development (IAD) recently held a Faculty Staff Appreciation Day Cookout on the Tiger Den Patio.

This event was coordinated by Sarah Simpson, faculty/staff and church relations development officer, to celebrate and recognize faculty and staff for their contributions, dedication, and hard work to the institution.

 “This event provided an opportunity to say thank you to the dynamic and innovative faculty and staff at Voorhees College,” said Simpson. “We hope this event inspires them to increase employee financial support.”

More than 50 faculty and staff members attended the event. Each faculty and staff member had an opportunity to enter a drawing for a $25 gas card.

Vice President for IAD, Dr. Gwynth Nelson, said Faculty Staff Appreciation Day was a success. “IAD has launched an aggressive faculty staff giving campaign to support the Voorhees College campus, build future programs, and redefine the institutional culture,” Nelson said.
