Voorhees staff member receives a distinct honor

The Voorhees College director of student engagement and leadership Marion Wright was recently honored at the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. International Conclave in Detroit.

Wright was inducted into the Distinguished Service Chapter, which is the highest honor a member can receive in Phi Beta Sigma. He has been active in the fraternity for 28 years on the local, state, regional, and international level.

He joined the Voorhees family in April and is the fifth member in the state of South Carolina to receive this distinct honor. Wright is currently a member of the Nu Omicron Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
