Voorhees is set to launch its brand new website
November 05, 2015
During Voorhees College’s All College Assembly in Massachusetts Hall on Thursday, Nov. 5, students, faculty, staff and guests will get to witness the launching of the institution’s brand new state-of-the-art website.
The assembly will be hosted by the Division of Institutional Advancement and will highlight the look and usability of the new website with opportunities for audience participation and interaction.
“Voorhees’ brand new website will stand out among the other institutions alike and will give current and prospective students that technological edge they are looking for,” said Teesa Brunson, assistant vice president of institutional advancement.
The Division of Institutional Advancement has been committed to the process of converting over to a brand new website since summer 2015 and now the idea will soon be reality for the institution. Moving from still pictures to fully digital video and high definition images, the website will be short of basic.
Webmaster and Graphic Designer Curtiss Sumner said that the site will be more intuitive and have more management control than the previous site allowing access to make changes or updates more expeditiously.
“As the college’s webmaster, I’m excited and relieved to see the new website finally come to fruition. The final product is going to be an awesome asset to how we communicate our message to and with current and potential students as well as alumni and donors.”
Some of the features that the website will have to offer are accessibility to the major social media outlets and adaptability to all mobile and tablet devices. Students will now have the convenience of accessing all their website needs on the go or from the comfort of their home.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Megan Freeman, director of communications, at 803-780-1191 or at email@example.com
