We request that you wear professional dress for the Inauguration and Reception on Friday, April 7 and the Ministerial Brunch on Saturday, April 8. The Inaugural Gala, which will be held on the evening of Friday, April 7, is a formal affair.

Student Government Association, Pan Hellenic Council, and other campus organizations and faculty/staff will conduct community service projects at various locations.  Transportation will be provided to students to approved locations.

Lecture/Panel Discussion: “Role/Relevancy of HBCUs”
2 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
 Educators and students will engage in dialogue on the role and historical significance of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Campus Cookout and Family Fun Fest
4 p.m.-7 p.m.

Enjoy a southern cookout in the Pecan Grove with students, faculty, staff and guests. The cookout will include “ole fashion ice cream,” popcorn, and cotton candy.
